38 week photo and appointment

Well, here we are, 11 days from our due date! We have an appointment tomorrow where we'll hopefully receive some good news in the progress department. Will update more after the appointment, but for now, here's the official 38 week photo (plus one Brad snuck while I was smoothing out the back of my dress - stinker :)

Good news! I was another cm dilated, so at 2, and 80% effaced. She also said my cervix was really far forward. I asked if next week (should there still be no baby) she would consider stripping my membranes. And she said "if I can get easy access now I'll do it today". As the exam started she quickly said "oh I can easily do this!" and so she did. Not the most pleasant of things, but it's done, and even before that, she was convinced we'll have a baby by Friday. I'm a bit skeptical (mainly because I don't want to get my hopes up), but I guess we'll see!

I also managed to gain another pound since the last appointment taking me to 19 total.
