Girls Trip!

So happy after landing!

On September 12, Bug and I took what was our first of hopefully many girls trips to visit Aunt Claire and Aunt Carlie in STL. Claire is getting married in October, and given all she's done for me during my big life events, I wanted to be able to do something for her. So E and I jumped on a jet plane and headed to STL for one of her wedding showers. It was a quick trip (about 40 hours to be exact), but totally worth it. E is still proving to be an incredibly resilient traveler, which definitely makes it easier to do fun things like this. It was great getting a taste of cooler fall weather (Bug even got to sport one of her jackets!), and so wonderful getting a quick dose of much needed friend time. Can't wait for the wedding in a few short weeks!
