It leaves a little to be desired here in AZ, but we had to pumpkin patch all the same. Surrounded by cactus and dirt, they do a pretty good job of making it feel like fall. Thankfully, it was a gloriously overcast day, and Ellie was a hoot. She LOVED the petting zoo, and we had a fun first true Halloween family outing. We followed up the pumpkin patch with a walk around Scottsdale Quarter (and a glass of wine for mom and dad) where we ordered Ellie her first kids meal off a menu (sloppy joe with ground turkey and sweet potato fries with no salt - she loved both!). A wonderful day preparing for Ellie's first Halloween!We took about nine thousand photos (she was TOO cute all day!) so the album is here.
