When you're gone for three weeks, that time between 19 and 20 months goes pretty darn fast!
Our little love is fully into toddler-hood, with convictions and loads of sass. She wants to walk one second and be held the next. She's picky about what she eats. And she has been known to start fussing the second something doesn't seem like it will go her way. It's been fascinating watching her mind work, absorbing the world around her. She asks SO many questions, and I know they'll just keep coming and I'm sure at a faster pace. "Who's that?" "What he doing?" "What she wearing?" "What down there?" "What is dat on mommy?" "What dat noise?" It never stops, but I try so hard to answer as best and as honestly as I can, every single time.
Her vocabulary is continuing to blow people away, and I feel incredibly lucky that she has been such an early talker - how do you navigate an opinionated toddler when they can't talk?! One day I'm sure we'll be lucky enough to understand, as there's no way I'll get this lucky again.
Since being together for 3 weeks straight, the transition back home has been a little tough in terms of anyone else taking care of E, even poor Brad. I was her constant in an ever changing trip, so it's not surprising that we're struggling a bit. The poor ladies at the gym daycare are really taking the worst of it, but we're not putting that on hold for either of our sakes. My hour at the gym keeps me sane!
But with all that said, this child is pure magic. So much joy, love, sweetness, smarts, and silly wrapped up in one deliciously precious package.
