Ellie's Midwest Tour

What a trip! All in all, it was 23 days, 4 states, 6 cities, 3 flights, 6 road trips, 5 houses, and 1 hotel (did I mention the partridge in a peartree?). It was EXHAUSTING, but lots of fun was had and lots of memories were made. If I'm being totally honest, though, that was WAY too long to be away from home, and I don't think a trip like that will be happening again, particularly with a toddler. Lessons learned, I suppose ;)
We made our way from Yorkville, IL to St. Louis to a quick stop in Columbia, MO to KC to Wichita to OKC and back to Wichita for what turned into the longest travel day we've had in quite some time. Let's just say missing your flight out is not recommended. I love that Ellie got so much time with so many special people, and she's still talking about some of her adventures. We're lucky to have so many people who love us.
