Our first ear infection.

Not the happiest of posts, but I wanted to be sure to document our first ear infection. Boo.
A few weeks ago, Ellie had that cold that seemed to get better and then just like that, her low grade fever came back and she seemed sick again. I wasn't sure if the cold just hadn't gone away or what was going on, but after a FOUR HOUR nap that started at 9:30 am (PS: she doesn't take morning naps anymore), I got her in to see the doctor.
Sure enough, double ear infection. I felt absolutely terrible, but our doc assured me that it probably was just a cold in the beginning and that the ear infection had only been there a few days at most. Still. What a horrible feeling!
A few days into the meds and we got our girl back, except for some residual night wakings that are really starting to wear us out. Fingers crossed we can nix them quick!
