She's walking! Like, really, really walking! Everywhere!

It's amazing how long it takes to go from first steps to really and truly walking.
After her first steps on Easter, she still preferred to crawl from A to B and really had to be encouraged to take steps wherever she was going. All that changed on Mother's Day evening (what a gift!).

We went to the park and like usual, she hopped on the jungle gym to head down the slide. Down she went, but instead of holding my hand all the way back to the steps, she let go and WALKED, all on her own to go again. She then WALKED in the sand! I couldn't believe it!

Since then it's picked up and now, just over a week later, she has to be asked to crawl (not that I'm asking!). She's getting quicker and it's making my life SO much easier to not have to carry her everywhere we go. So proud of my girl!
