An Ellie funny

We were in the grocery store yesterday and a sweet woman, maybe early 50s, was ooh-ing and ahh-ing over Ellie, specifically commenting on how calm, sweet, and verbal she was. 

We had some casual chit chat and she shared that she has 4 boys, youngest is 11, and that her niece also just had a boy. I said "wow, you really have boys everywhere in your family!". Ellie quickly chimed in, emphatically waving her arms a la a football referee calling an incomplete pass, and said "Boys EVEEWEAR!!!" 

The lady and I promptly cracked up, she beamed even bigger at my bug, and away we walked. I didn't stop giggling until we left the store.
